Our Story
B3X Studios started the way most real things do — not with a business plan, but with a camera and a conviction that the people and organizations around us had stories worth telling. Byron Mapp founded the company with a simple belief: that high-quality visual production shouldn't be reserved for big-budget brands. Small businesses, nonprofits, and local professionals deserve the same level of craft and care.
What began as solo shoots for local clients in the DC and Maryland area has grown into a full-service production company. Today B3X handles everything from corporate brand films and executive interviews to event coverage, professional headshots, and our DSLR photo booth experience. Every project — regardless of size — gets the same commitment to quality and storytelling.
We work with small businesses, restaurants, nonprofits, community organizations, and professionals across the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area. Byron leads every production from concept to delivery. With a background in cinematography and a sharp eye for brand storytelling, he's the creative force behind B3X Studios — on set, behind the lens, and in the edit.
Jason
Post-Production Lead
Jason handles the back half of every project — color grading, editing, and the finishing work that turns raw footage into something clients are proud to share. His technical precision is what gives B3X productions their polished, professional look.
